Resurrection Sunday

at HOPE + LIFE

What is the

Easter Celebration?

Easter is a celebration of the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, as described in the New Testament of the Bible. (Matthew 28:5) We celebrate Easter as the culmination of Holy Week, which were seven days of incredible events such as Jesus’ crucifixion on Good Friday (Matthew 26) and his resurrection on Easter Sunday. Easter is the most significant event in Christianity, symbolizing victory over sin and death, and an opportunity to believers of hope for eternal life in Heaven through Jesus.

Why celebrate?

Easter celebrates the hope, redemption, and promise of new life that is offered to all who choose Jesus the Christ as their Lord and Savior. The event signifies the victory over both sin and death, ending the inevitable retribution for our human imperfections, and allowing the choice of redemption with abundant living. It’s a time of joy, reflection, and emphasizing the transformative power of faith in Christ, and the spiritual renewal of life. It’s also an reminder of God’s love for His creation, and the ultimate sacrifice made by Jesus for the salvation of humanity, allowing anyone who believes to have eternal life. (John 3:16-17)

On Easter Sunday, March 31st we invite you to come celebrate with us in one of our two morning services at 9:00am and 10:30am.
